Denver Transit Partners To Reduce Lanes on the West Terminal Approach this Weekend

DENVER  ­ Nov. 3, 2016 – On Sat., Nov. 5, a section of inbound Peña Boulevard where it splits towards the west terminal entrance will be reduced from the current three lanes to one lane from approximately 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. All four lanes will reopen at 4 a.m. on Sun., Nov. 6 returning this section of inbound Peña Boulevard to its original configuration.
 
The Regional Transportation District’s (RTD) contractor Denver Transit Partners (DTP) has been replacing waterproofing that is part of RTD’s University of Colorado A Line. This project began May 2016 and will be complete on Nov. 6.
 
Motorists should expect reduced speed limits in the area of the construction from approximately 7 p.m. Sat., Nov. 5 to 4 a.m. on Sun. Nov. 6. Drivers are asked to slow down and use caution in the construction area.
