Agreement keeps the Idaho Hawks as a Rockies affiliate through 2020

Boise, ID — The Boise Hawks and their parent club, the Colorado Rockies, have announced they have extended their Player Development Contract (PDC) through the 2020 baseball season. The Hawks have been a Rockies affiliate since 2015.

We are extremely excited to extend our partnership with the Boise Hawks. The organization, the City of Boise, and the fans have embraced us with open arms and we look forward to continuing our relationship and bringing great baseball to Boise for many years to come. —  Zach Wilson, Senior Director, Player Development (Farm Director)

The Hawks will once again join Albuquerque (AAA), Hartford (AA), Lancaster (High-A), Asheville (Low-A), and Grand Junction (Rookie) in filling out the Colorado Rockies Minor League System.

We are thrilled to be affiliated with the Rockies. It’s been a great three years working with the Rockies organization and we look forward to being a partner for a very long time. —  Bob Flannery, Boise Hawks General Manager

The Hawks are the Treasure Valley’s top stop for affordable, family entertainment and have concluded celebrating their 30th anniversary of professional baseball in Boise earlier this month.
