STRASBURG — The Strasburg Lady Indians concluded their season with a 3-2 victory at Eaton Oct. 7 and in the process won another league title; however, the red-and-black enter the 3A softball postseason seeded third, behind Brush and Eaton.

The Colorado High School Activities Association released its softball tournament brackets earlier this morning, including eight three-team brackets in the 3A classification. All 3A regional action is slated for Saturday with Strasburg (15-4 on the year) expected to play about 12:15 p.m. against the winner of a 10 a.m. game between Sterling (9-9) and Montezuma-Cortez (9-10-1).

In most cases the top eight seeds host regionals, but this year has two sites that are hosted by lower-seeded teams because they won their conference titles. La Junta is seeded No. 6 but will play at 11th-seeded Limon. No. 8 seeded University must travel to Meeker for its regional tournament.
