17^th Judicial District Attorney Dave Young and the Commerce City Police are looking for convicted felon of Sexual Assault on a Child

Sergio Hernandez, 43, was found guilty by a jury and convicted of Sexual Assault on a Child, Sexual Assault on a Child by one in a Position of Trust and Aggravated Incest following a jury trial held this week in Adams County. 

The defendant left the courthouse prior to the jury returning guilty verdicts on Thursday afternoon and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

The defendant has ties to Fort Lupton, Denver, and Commerce City.

Anyone with information on Hernandez’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
