Joann Ginal, chairwoman of the Health, Insurance & Environment Committee, Shelly Joy, whose pre-existing conditions prevented her from getting insurance until the ACA, Caleb Jackson, who beat a chronic disease because of the ACA, Amanda Miller, whose ACA-supported insurance paid roughly $20,000 in hospital bills when she and her husband were in a car accident, and Kristen Williams, whose family almost lost their home because of her healthcare costs before the ACA.
