The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance with any information regarding a shooting that left one man with non-life-threatening injuries.

On Oct. 30 at about 3:30 a.m. Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to an abandoned building in the 14600 block of E. Fremont Ave. for a report of shots fired. There was no one at the building when deputies arrived, but they did find evidence of a large gathering, multiple shell casings, and blood at the scene.

The Sheriff’s Office then received a call from someone who said a man had been shot and was taken to an area hospital. The caller then hung up.

Investigators located the victim and determined he had a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his torso, but the victim did not know who shot him. Investigators would like to talk to anyone who was present at the gathering or has information about the shooting.
